Terms of Service

By accessing or using Protomate, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. You must be at least 18 years old, or otherwise authorized to bind your business to these Terms.

Agencies may manage multiple client stores under one account. These Terms apply to all users and accounts on protomate.app from April 29, 2026.

Protomate is an AI social media automation SaaS that generates content, schedules posts, and publishes to connected platforms automatically. AI-generated outputs may not always be accurate, platform-compliant, or suitable for every audience, and you are responsible for review before publishing.

Protomate is an independent third-party tool.

• You must provide accurate and current registration information.
• You are responsible for keeping credentials secure and for all account activity.
• Report unauthorized access immediately to contact@protomate.app.
• One account per user; agencies can manage multiple stores inside one account.

• Starter ($29/mo): 1 store, 30 posts/month, Facebook + Instagram.
• Pro ($79/mo): 3 stores, 120 posts/month, all platforms, AI images, analytics.
• Agency ($199/mo): 15 stores, unlimited posts, all features, white label option.
• Billing cycles: monthly, quarterly (save 9%), annual (save 18%), auto-renewing.

• All payments are processed by Stripe.
• Subscriptions renew automatically; cancel anytime from Settings.
• No refunds for partial billing periods except where required by local law.
• Plan downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.
• Protomate may change pricing with at least 30 days notice.

• You own all store data, product information, and images you upload.
• AI-generated captions, hashtags, and images are owned by you upon generation.
• You are responsible for reviewing content before publishing.
• Protomate does not guarantee AI outputs are accurate, brand-appropriate, or compliant with all rules.
• You grant Protomate a limited, non-exclusive license to process content only to provide service features.
• We do not use your content to train AI models without explicit consent.

• You confirm you have admin authority for any connected Facebook Page, Instagram Business account, Pinterest account, or WordPress site.
• You are responsible for maintaining good standing with each connected platform and for ensuring published content respects each platform's community and developer guidelines.
• Pinterest: Protomate uses the Pinterest API only with scopes you grant (e.g. user_accounts:read, boards:read, pins:read, pins:write) to publish AI-generated Pins to the boards you select and to read public metrics. You agree to comply with the Pinterest Developer Guidelines, Community Guidelines, and Advertising Standards.
• Protomate is not responsible for platform policy violations caused by content you approved or scheduled.
• If a platform suspends your account, Protomate is not liable for resulting loss of access or data.
• You can disconnect platforms anytime from Settings -> Channels. Disconnecting removes the encrypted access tokens we store for that platform.

• Protomate uses Google Gemini API to generate post content and images.
• Your use of AI features is subject to Google Terms of Service.
• We comply with Google API Services User Data Policy.
• You are responsible for ensuring AI-generated content complies with applicable laws and platform rules.

• Our Privacy Policy at protomate.app/privacy-policy explains data collection, use, and protection.
• By using Protomate, you agree to our Privacy Policy.
• We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

• The Protomate brand, product design, dashboard, and code are owned by Protomate.
• You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or rebrand Protomate without written permission.
• User-uploaded content and AI-generated output remain yours.
• Feedback and suggestions may be used to improve the service without compensation or attribution.

• Protomate is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or successful publishing of every scheduled post.
• We are not liable for API outages, platform policy changes, account suspensions, engagement loss, or AI output errors.
• Total liability for any claim is limited to amounts paid by you in the 3 months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold Protomate harmless from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your violation of these Terms, your breach of platform terms, or content published through your account.

• You can cancel your subscription anytime from Settings -> Billing.
• Protomate may suspend or terminate accounts for Terms violations, with reasonable notice where possible.
• On account deletion, data is retained for 90 days then permanently deleted, or immediately on written request to contact@protomate.app.

• These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Protomate is incorporated.
• Disputes are handled first through good-faith negotiation, then binding arbitration if unresolved within 30 days.
• Material changes to these Terms are provided by email with at least 30 days notice; continued use means acceptance.
